I ordered them for a friend, who hadn’t worn 501’s ever! So I talked him into it, and he said that after they were washed, they fit just perfectly! And, because he lives out of town, I was unable to get a picture of him in his new Levi 501’s but I’m sure he looks great!

That little bit of stretch makes all the difference. Not the all-cotton Lev's of the past
I'm short and can't find regular fit pants that don't fall down without a belt. This works. Also, it does the best compromise between the (slightly) burgeoning belly and not wanting to hike your pants up to the belly button. When you find the right size for you, ou hardl notice you are wearing them. I used to rock 32/33 x 30 reg levis and now find 29 or 30 x 30 the best, and I don't have to always tromp on the leg cuffs. Wish I could get shorter legs. Yes I did lose 15 pounds thank you.

They fit him PERFECTLY! And they look so good! He was very impressed and said they were extremely comfortable. I was even impressed and now I have to find a pair of Levi's for me.

A classic - very reliable, tough, and long-lasting. Not my first pair, and won't be my last!
Hard to write a review of Levi's 501s - they're such a standard thing for me, having always had at least one pair in my wardrobe for more than 30 years. Timeless, durable and well made. They have a slightly loose thigh fit compared to other styles, but this does make them comfortable, and they go with pretty much any occasion except a formal black-tie dinner. The industry standard in 'classic' jeans - if you haven't got a pair already you should probably get one.

My husband lost 45 lbs and was looking for new pairs of expandable waist jeans he used to purchase at Wal-Mart. They no longer carry them so we kept looking. These fit him perfectly!  Great jeans!
I wear a 44 waist and have big calves. These fit great! After one wash they still fit great. The stretch is awesome. I will agree with other reviews that the length is not accurate. I wear 32 length for shoes and a 34 for boots. I ordered a 32 length but these have to be 34. Look good with boots and I’ll make ‘em work with shoes. Maybe next time I’ll order a 30 length but I will be ordering more of these. Super comfy.

 I Like These Jeans
I have been a loyal customer of Levi's Jeans for decades. I decided to give Wranglers a go for once, and I did not regret it. I ride my motorcycle daily, and the way the inseam is sewn in to these jeans, leaves adequate room for "the boys" to be comfortable and not all bunched up like they were in my other jeans. I will definitely be considering Wranglers from here on out. They are VERY durable, and easy to clean. They don't shrink up when they're washed either...Which is quite nice. And, I really appreciated the convenience of the Amazon try before you buy program, so I could make sure these fit well before I decided to pull the trigger.

 These are not stretch. Just denim jeans.
I like the look and the feel of these jeans. And I love the fact that they are not stretch. You would not believe had many time I had ordered Levi jeans off of Amazon and got stretch jeans which I do not like nor want. Hey if that is your thing, nothing wrong with it, but it is just not my cup of tea. I want my jeans to not give like spandex and these do not, they just have the right amount of room for movement.

 Great fit and the taper is perfect
The 512s are my favorite fit. I'm actually just under a 28" waist but these fit fine. They are slim jeans and taper but aren't too tight (at least for me). I really like the taper fit, both with athletic and dressier shoes. There is a bit of stretch to the material and I found these to be very soft right away and I like the dark grey color.

This review is specifically for "Levi's Men's 514 Straight fit Stretch Jean, Midnight, 33x34", although it should be safe to assume that the quality of the Midnight jeans carries over to Levi's other Amazon-sold pants.

At first, I was a bit apprehensive to buy these off Amazon because I saw other reviews mentioning inconsistent sizing and poor thread quality. I have now bought three pairs of these same jeans off Amazon, and they have all been better than expected. The look is great, the sizing is ideal, and the feel is smooth and comfortable.

 Fit my skinny legs and long enough to go over cowboy boots (with slits)
I'm a long legged skinny guy that wears cowboy boots. Finding some jeans that fit and are long enough are a trick. These fit my skinny legs great (and butt). I like the look and will like them better after some washings. These are skinny legged jeans at the bottom and probably too tight for cowboy boots BUT I wanted to slit a pair of jeans at the bottom (an old Texas tradition that I think looks cool). With the slits I think these fit and look perfect!

 Not very fashionable, but a quality pair of jeans that fit right.
I was a bit nervous when my last pair of Wranglers finally developed holes in the knees because I have not had great success in replacing clothing that fits with the currently available version. Manufacturers change the cut, the color, the fabric, etc. and I end up searching for the next best item when it would be so much easier to just buy another of the brand/style that was worn out. That frustrating fashion dilemma DID NOT happen with this purchase. The new Wranglers look and fit like the old Wranglers... and I am pleased.

The extreme motion pants are my favorite, they don't last quite as long as regular denim, but I have to do a lot of crouching and crawling around for my job and these pants make that a lot easier. Very comfortable to move around in and they look nice too.

 Who knew Amazon would be so good at this?
I’ve ordered several pairs of Amazon Essentials jeans. I needed all-new clothes after significant (mostly intentional) weight loss, and Amazon has made this affordable for me. I started with the cool Amazon option of trying before buying, and that went well, so now I order Amazon clothing brands with confidence. The sizes are consistent from item to item, so once you know your size, you can order and be quite sure the piece will work out. They are indeed dye-heavy, and Amazon appropriately advises to wash before wearing. I do find that dye will run for the first few washes, so be sure to keep like colors together when laundering these with other items (I learned the hard way, ha ha). I wash these in cold water and dry them on low heat to prevent wrinkles, and I’ve had no shrinkage issues with any Amazon clothing. I have a short inseam for my height, as much of my height is in my long torso. I’m thrilled Amazon has options for so many body types. If it helps, I’m 5’11,” weigh 140-145 lbs., and my waist is 29-30”. These have a nice fit and still have a little room for comfort at the waist. I get compliments on my simple but fitted clothing.

Fits like a dream and true to size even after washing. Seams are still holding up wearing them nearly everyday and having to bend and crouch for work. For the price, I'll probably order a second or third pair to rotate.

If you get your buns into the gym first thing every morning and squat 300 a billion times, you're gonna build a very healthy tush and thighs/calves to go along with it. Such a pity to have all of that hard work covered up with baggy saggy jeans! These athletic fit jeans have a tiny bit of stretch material in them, and the thigh and calve areas are not exactly tight, but quite form-fitting, so all of your hard work just looks straight up fantastic!
